Service / Maintenance
Regular maintenance is very important for your BMW motorcycle, whether it’s a new model with low mileage, an older bike that’s been around the block, or a classic from days gone by. Services or inspections should be carried out every year, or every 10 000km, whichever milestone.
Repairs
BMW manufactures some of the best motorcycles on the road, and if you take proper care of your machine, you shouldn’t have too many problems beyond the usual wear and tear. But every now and then, things do go wrong. Repairs at JK Works are carried out with the utmost care and precision.
Insurance Claims
JK Works has arrangements in place with Insurance companies to quote and if accepted do the necessary repairs on accident damaged motorcycles. Contact Jandré and make an appointment to discuss the procedure and way forward should you need your motorcycle repaired.
Maintenance requirement and terms
JK Works is accredited by the NATIONAL AUTOMOBILE DEALERS’ ASSOCIATION.
This allows us to complete maintenance on motorcycles that are warranted by their aftersales agency. BMW Motorcycles have a maintenance service completed every ten thousand kilometres or once every calendar year, whichever comes first.
Motorcycle maintenance services are completed with upmost care and thoroughness.
TWO WORKING DAYS
For a complete documented maintenance service, the standard turn-around time is two working days. This gives us ample time to quote on the work needed, clean and test the motorcycle, and make sure it is given all the attention it deserves.
SINGLE WORKING DAY
When prearranged we will complete a maintenance service within the same day.
We have a comfortable waiting room and facilities to allow you to wait for planned maintenance, parts and accessories fitment and repairs to be completed.
